Adhunik Manob Unnayan Songstha (AMUS)

Adhunik Manob Unnayan Songstha (AMUS): AMUS is trying   to establish social awareness of the North-west region of Bangladesh. It Organizes livelihood underprivileged people and make a group for livelihood program. Besides livelihood , organization implemented also  Health &  Hygienic related issue, Non-formal Primary Education ,Human rights,  Child Rights , Good Governance, Domestic Violence, Ecological Agriculture, Natural Disaster, HIV/AIDS and  gender mainstreaming issues are implemented. The organization was going to established against trafficking through Bangladesh networking activities.

Suchita Somaj Unnayan Songstha (SSUS): SSUS works with a view to meaning health service for the distressed people is a health-WASH-livelihood, non-formal education, DRR, climate change impact focused non-profit private voluntary development organization. Initially a group of young Medical Doctors and social activists observing appalling condition of people living in slums decided to start a health clinic in slum areas of Bangladesh to help this people to overcome some of their primary health care needs. During the flood and other disasters the organization operates many health teams to support flood affected poor people in Bangladesh.

Prokash Manobik Unnayan Songstha (PMUS): PMUS is a “company not for profit” and is registered under the Companies Act with the registrar of Joint Stock Companies. The legal structure of PKSF allows flexibility and authority to undertake program in a dynamic environment, implementing them throughout the country and manage its affairs as an independent organization. In the beginning of its operations PMUS set the goal of creating self-employment opportunities in the rural off-farm sector and adopted the strategy of promoting a credit program for attaining this goal. Enabling the poor to come out from the low productivity trap, PKSF has integrated capacity building, technology transfer, value chain development and other technical services in its development program.

Bengal Association for Social Advancement (BASA): Through its programs it promotes disaster response, decentralization of power, rule of law and entitlement. Through a range of activities it facilitates the community. Especially the poor and disadvantaged, about their entitlements as enshrined in the constitution. At the same time it engages with the local and national government, public bodies, networks and coalition so as to broaden the communities’ access to rights and justice. The sector has completed the objectives like to uphold basic and human rights of all citizens in Bangladesh, to promote democratic decentralization, promoting health, disaster management, local self-government and accountable public and guardian institutions.

Trinomul Nari Songstha (TNS): TNS is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization. We are focusing on women empowerment, underprivileged widow women and rights of women.  We have experience in undertaking a range of short and long-term projects on Natural Resource Management (NRM), Environment, Climate Change, Livelihoods, Primary health care, Hygiene Promotion Sanitation and Water supply(HYSAWA), WATSAN, good governance, and education issues.TNS is registered with the Department of Social Services and the NGO Affairs Bureau.

Galachipa Social Service Employees Welfare Association (GSSEWA)): GSSEWA works on rural populations in the areas of livelihood, skill development, health, education, water and sanitation, nutrition, mother and child health care services, kitchen gardening, growth monitoring, immunizations, arsenic mitigation, disaster management and the developing needs of marginalized people of Bangladesh from its inception. Community Health & Development Programme

Community Health & Development Program (CHDP): CHDP operates in the southwest Bangladesh Districts of Patuakhali, Barisal etc. Its focus is on poor communities, and particularly women and children who tend to be the more disadvantaged members of society. The main activities of CHDP are geared toward increasing good health decision making of individuals and communities by improving functionality of a local integrated, responsive health system (whether NGO, Government of Bangladesh, or an integration of both). We try to focus on household and group teaching for health promotion, disease prevention, primary care clinical service provision, including community midwifery and group facilitation for community mobilization using participatory action research approaches.

Mitali Jubo Unnoyon Songstha (MJUS): MJUS started its journey with youth skill development program and developed its own technical curriculum which was a unique example at that time. JCF still believes technical issues are the key to all development and it is the first priority in taking any new intervention. The success of this intervention gave MJUS courage to go with community development approach and later it successfully implemented a number of community development and disaster management projects whose beneficiaries are now running their own people’s institution by them.

Organization  mainly works in Cox’s Bazar beside that they also focus on different area in Bangladesh like Dhaka,Narayanganj,Gajipur,Norshingdi,Savar,Manikganj and Munshiganj.They focus on migration for better living condition, education program, Health Program, Relief and Rehabilitation program.

ANANDO: ANANDO is a national NGO established in 1996 which implements development and humanitarian projects in Bangladesh. It was founded ensure the development of poor people specially the disadvantage of rural woman and youth through promotion and culture, peace and development.

Bangla-German Sampreeti (BGS): Bangla-German Sampreeti (BGS) – Association for Culture and Development is involved in diverse development initiatives and interventions for more than 22 years. This is a national, non-government, non-profit, inter-religious and voluntary development organization which was initiated by a group of economists, writers, scientists, development practitioners and social philanthropists.

Habiganj Unnayan Shangstha: HAbiganj Unnayan Shangtha is a Habiganj based nonprofit organization, They focus on development for the Habiganj People by micro finance, awareness program educational program ect.

Peoples Association for Social Advancement (PASA):  PASA is also Habiganj based NGO work on sanitation for better living condition.

Atkhali Community Unnayan Shangtha: Atkhali Community Unnayan Shangstha work for the local community people in Atkhali, Patuakhali.As Atkhali is a coastal area, Cyclone is main disaster for them. This organization works for awareness and give training to the local community  so that they can prevent the disaster.

Community Development and Health Care Center:  This NGO works in Potuakhali to help the community people by giving training and workshop on different sector like disaster, better living, health awareness, mother and child care and other social improvements. They also provide the basic healthcare to the local community.

Al-Karim Foundation: This organization focus on Bagerhat work for the rural people improving their livelihood activities, Give training to the women about different disaster related program.

Novoshakti: Its mainly youth based organization,focusing to the youth  group giving different training improving social development.

Disaster Health and Environment Management Foundation (DHEM): This organization works in Pabna district mainly focus in Disaster management. This organization works during  and after disaster on health and environment.Their main focus on health sector during disaster.

Seven One Ltd.: Seven One Ltd Dhaka based privet company works for the undeveloped people.They give training and organize community volunteer team so that during and after disaster that team take action rapidly.
