Organization Description (Mission, Vision, Activity, Background):
In 1988, a group of development-loving youths from Thakurgaon came forward to help the people affected by the floods that swept over the northern region of Bangladesh. They feel that an organizational approach can change the fate of these backward communities in general and woman in particular, as they come very close to the society in the future, especially for the backward classes. It is from this self-realization that the ESDO gained institutional form in the northern part of Bangladesh.
